“We don’t really have traditional biographies,” says Bud Ford. “Yeah,” adds Broadway. “We’re just normal guys waking you up. Our biographies are on the air everyday. We call it real life on 96.7 Merle.” Bud Ford and Jerry Broadway worked as personalities and programmers in the radio business for years. Like chocolate and peanut butter in the old ads for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, one day they just decided it would be more fun to work together and wake you up in the morning. They’ve won personality of the year trophies from both the CMA and ACM and love waking you up each morning now on 96.7 Merle. They both have family ties to the Knoxville area and have forever wanted to be on the air in Knoxville as a life long goal.
